Ubiway – The Mint, Brussels
Retail Projects carried out the interior fit-out of the Ubiway outlet at The Mint in Brussels, which combines a coffee shop, a food shop and a seating area.
The coffee shop has a light-wood counter with a black front, red metal stools and a black back wall with an illuminated sign and chalk drawings. In the food shop, timber-framed chillers line the walls around a timber soup bar and a white till counter with a confectionery rack. A wall of letter tiles on timber rails spells out words such as eat, read and meet. The ceiling is left open with exposed ductwork, supplemented by timber baffles, pendant lights and spotlights. The lounge area holds grey sofas, red and yellow chairs and a high table with stools.
