PURETO – Bruges
Since October 2025, the Belgian mashed-potato brand PURETO has been welcoming guests in the historic centre of Bruges. On opening day, people were queuing outside. Retail Projects delivered the complete interior fit-out, from the first laser line on an empty floor to lights-on and handover. Tight planning and a well-run site mattered as much as robust finishes able to withstand heavy use and a layout built for fast service.
Behind the dark frontage with yellow lettering, the shop window displays large potato shapes on ochre blocks. Inside, red and ochre dominate: a red counter with chequered tiles, ordering kiosks, curved bouclé banquettes, benches with red ribbed backrests and wooden tables. A vaulted room with a lit, wavy niche in the wall forms a striking seating area. According to Retail Projects, the cellar is well worth a visit too.
