Foodmaker – Hasselt

Retail Projects delivered the interior of Foodmaker in Hasselt, a restaurant where fresh meals, salads and soups are served from the counter to eat in.

A long corner counter with a white worktop and a front of dark hexagonal timber panels runs through the ground floor. Above it are black steel racks holding products and plants, and a dropped ceiling grid in dark wood and steel fitted with bare bulbs. White-painted brickwork, a poured floor and a black staircase to the upper level give the space an industrial character. Upstairs, a long timber table with black chairs stands against a boarded wall, next to a lounge corner with dark armchairs, pouffes and a mural of vegetables.
