Spar – Helchteren
Retail Projects carried out the interior fit-out of the Spar supermarket in Helchteren. The store opened on 3 December 2020.
A grid of timber beams hangs above the shop floor beneath a black ceiling, fitted with spotlight tracks and pendant lights. Wine is displayed in timber racks and fresh produce in baskets and on mobile tables. The bakery section is a wall of timber compartments with glass flaps, next to a coffee corner in black steel and perforated metal. A counter clad in green glazed tiles with a timber top marks the filled-roll area. In the fresh food section, chilled counters stand before a timber wall carrying the Spar logo in moss and a wall of black metro tiles.
